Dress in cotton and bitumen flex, criss-crossed with white and brown vertical and horizontal lines. Dress with square neckline delineated on the front by the shoulders and the frilly, fully smocked plastron, hand-embroidered with ecru flowers and lined in navy blue cotton voile. Beneath the smocking, the fabric regains its freedom and the skirt flares out. In the back, the bodice has slipped into the skirt, whose gathers create a frill along the seam that binds them together. The long sleeves are tightened at the wrists with a formal elastic band. The full-height back button placket closes with natural mother-of-pearl buttons.
