An advantageous neckline thanks to the V-neckline embellished with black embroidery handmade by Indian craftsmen and topped with a flounce, the bodice ends at the waist with gathers held by the belt all in elastic and flounced smocks. The same smocked band is found, but wider, on the cuffs. The tiered skirt widens to the ankles and ends with scallops hemmed with black satin stitch. The full-length placket is fastened with natural mother-of-pearl buttons.
