Blouse in asphalt combed cotton with criss-crossing vertical and horizontal lines in white and brown. The back yoke returns to the front of the shoulders and supports the gathers that give the piece its fullness. On either side of the button placket, two flat scalloped bands hemmed in coral bourdon stitch are separated by a sewn-in fold. A much more discreet jabot than under royalty. No need to think you're a lawyer! Beneath the button placket, the two pleats regain their freedom, giving ease of movement to even the most boisterous of women. The long sleeves are tightened at the wrists by a buttoned cuff. Like the flat collar around the round neckline, the bottom of the blouse is scalloped and hemmed in coral bourdon stitch.
