The main reason for the use of synthetic fibers in woolens is that they bring softness. Indeed, pure wool is very famous for being warm, but unfortunately, it can cause tingling or itching. Mixed with synthetic fibers, the wool becomes softer and more supple, and the strength and stretch are enhanced. On the other hand, synthetic fibers increase the insulating power of wool and facilitate its maintenance.

Jacquard is the knitting technique used to draw the green roses and stems, the green zigzags, and blue squares. Where usually the threads of the patterns are stretched on the reverse side between each pattern, they have been knitted making like a lining. It is no longer possible to get your fingers caught in the wool when putting on your cardigan with raglan sleeves and the knit remains soft, stretchy, and twice as warm.
